It does not mean the company is cheap, or good, or fast to arrive, or licensed, or insured, or skilled. We do not check any of that and other people do.
It does not mean they will answer when you call. We called on the date shown, not tonight.
Somebody who did not work for the company called its published emergency line at an hour the company did not know about, described a real problem, and came off the call knowing what would happen next and when.
That is all. It is one thing, tested one way.
We call between ten at night and six in the morning. We do not say we are coming. We present the same situation to every company.
A pass means the caller ended the call holding a commitment. An appointment with a time, a technician on the way, or a callback within a stated period. Anything else is not a pass.
When a company passes, we tell the person who answered, at the end of the call, that it was us and that they handled it correctly. Nobody is tricked and nothing is held back.
A company that is not listed has not been called by us. Most companies have not been called by us.
We never publish a company that did not pass, and we never will. There is no list of failures anywhere, and there will not be one.
Google verifies insurance and licensing. NATE certifies technicians. ACCA reviews installation quality. The state licenses the contractor.
All of it matters and none of it tells you whether a person picks up at two in the morning.
